Great Link for Garden Ideas

The Teachers Clubhouse has lots of ready made printables with
the garden design for a small price. Check it out.

Just a little Extra

I saw this dvd at Target and thought it would be
excellent to add to my collection of Curious
George and also as a part of my Garden Theme.

More Garden Theme Ideas

I found these watering cans in the dollar section at Wal Mart.
Will use them as pencil holders on the classroom tables.

More Garden Ideas

These are some garden tools found in Wal Mart's dollar section.
These will be part of the design on the classroom door. The door
will be entitled, "Look Who's Growing in Mrs. Dramado's Class!

My Visit to Hobby Lobby

Well, I am finally getting in the zone of preparing for my class.
As you know my theme for this year will be a garden theme and
I think I have found the material I will use throughout my
classroom. Hobby Lobby has material with lady bugs and various
other garden insects. there are three designs that compliment each other .
I found this terrific seat to make . I think I will use some of this material
to make seats for my students.

This is the material that will be used in the classroom.

My Garden Binder Cover

This is the finished Garden Theme Page. I liked the way
it turned out for my first time trying to
use clip art in a design.
Its called Goals Are Reached Daily
with Everything Needed. I used an acronyms
page to find an acronym that fit.

My Garden Theme (a work in progress)

Finally, I have decided this year to do a garden theme.
This year kindergarten will have a new science unit.
We will be doing "Where does our food come from"?
instead of "Life on the Farm"(this unit I loved doing).
The garden theme will focus on the foods we grow.
I have been looking at all of the many wonderful blogs
and surfing the net and going from store to store.
I have found so many great ideas!  This morning I am
going to try to make one of the binder covers posted
at Primary Perspective http://www.eduperry.com/.
My students have binders provided to them but they
all look the same without a cover .
